Everyone knows the problem: it's always easy to find something sturdy for one end of a hammock, but the other end is usually not quite right. The Madera solves the problem. Simple in design, and made from the highest quality materials, simply stand up the hardwood bars and drive the pin into the ground and you are ready to hang any Amazonas Hammock. The Madera stand has jointed legs for easy assembly, storage and shipping!
Technical Specs
  • THE MADERA STAND MUST BE SET UP AND USED PROPERLY FOR YOUR SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT.
  • Attach one end of your hammock to a tree, post, or other secure and strong point using rope, chain or other connection that will provide movement as the hammock swings (not supplied).
  • The legs are shipped in two parts with a unique joint.
  • After assembly, the two legs are joined at the top with the supplied eye bolt and nut as illustrated in the photo at left. The legs should be spread approx. 45” at the ground level. The top of the legs should be tipped back from the hammock at a 60 degree angle.
  • The anchor pin must be fully engaged into the soil at the same 60 degree angle as the legs.
  • The tension rope should be placed securely over the pivot point at the top of the legs and looped around the anchor pin at ground level. Final angle adjustment of the Madera can be made with the rope adjuster.
  • Check the anchor pin each time you use the hammock to ensure it remains securely in the soil.
